DUNGEON PARTY : THE WIZARD IN ACTION

After a few months of closed beta testing, Dungeon Party is now ready to open its Beta to the whole World. In order to celebrate this event, Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive are proud to present a new trailer video, focusing on the first of the characters you are able to play in the game: the Wizard. You will discover in this video some of the skills and specialities of this versatile Hero.

Dungeon Party is a free PC online game developed by Cyanide and based on team play. Plunge into a wild heroic-fantasy universe and play against each other in teams of heroes across dungeons filled with deadly traps and monsters to try and collect the treasures they hold. In Dungeon Party you can create and customize your character with different costumes and objects. A holiday-making sorcerer, a thief straight out of a night club, or a gothic hangman…all styles are possible! Each player can equip his character with different objects and weapons before the battle against opponent teams starts.

You’ll have to develop your character through the matches and carefully choose which spells and skills could help the best your team. In order to spice up the game, deadly traps and hunted creatures are scattered throughout the dungeons. These creatures won’t make any difference between the teams and protect their treasures with a lot of zeal. Kill monsters will give you more experience points which allow you to buy faster new spells. Bosses and mini-bosses will be harder to beat but will also give you a greater amount of points and, most of all, will help you to seduce the Chest.

Frogster reveals new Runes of Magic trailer
Video opens the first chapter - ‘Rise of the Demon Lord’

Berlin, March 6th 2009: Frogster today revealed the evil super villain from Runes of Magic’s first chapter: Rise of the Demon Lord’. The new in-game trailer tells the story of the Demon Lord’s dark powers as he unleashes a wave of chaos and destruction upon Taborea. Runes of Magic is scheduled for a full launch on March 19th.

The game’s opening chapter marks the beginning of a struggle against a new deadly enemy. To coincide with the full launch of March 19th, Frogster will release a huge content update including new tasks, a further epic quest series, three new instanced locations – including ‘Kalin Shrine’, as well as new elite skills.

Frogster and the developer Runewaker are also working flat-out at building in new features and content for the post-launch period. There are firm plans for integrating a complete new region shortly after the start. Free updates every four to five months will continue the story of ‘Chapter 1: Rise of the Demon Lord’ and expand the game world at regular intervals.

NDOORS Interactive, creators of the strategic turn-based MMORPG, Atlantica Online, today announced that they will be opening their 6th server, Delphi, to meet growing consumer demand. Each day brings new players into the world of Atlantica Online and the increase in server capacity improves the game’s performance and provides the best online experience possible. The expansion follows a major content update for the award-winning free-to-play MMO. With a 6th server online, Atlantica is prepared to welcome thousands of new users with a smooth gaming experience and allow veteran players the opportunity to start anew and tryout the new character classes.
