Valentines with Cronous

Enjoy the Cronous event and make your Valentine a special one.

Seoul, Korea – February 6, 2009 –Cronous (cronous.neofun.com), a popular MMORPG developed and published by Lizard Interactive, is preparing a special event to be held from February 12 to 26 for all Cronous fans in celebration of Saint Valentine’s Day.

During the event period, monsters will be dropping shattered pieces of “Love” which players have to collect and mend to make it whole again. Monsters will drop only one kind of “Love” piece but when you give it to another player, it will turn into the other type. It means players will have to exchange “Love” pieces with another.

The player with most wholly mended “Love’ pieces will get a Love Pendant, a unique limited item. If you don’t want the pendant, you can also use “Love” pieces to restore your HP and MP during combat.

Myth War Online: Valentine’s Day Events

Since Valentine’s Day is coming around the corner, the air is thick with the sweet scent of roses and chocolates. Myth War team from IGG has prepared the wonderful event series for Myth War inhabitants to express their sentiments.

Event 1:
Love does not begin or end in one day. Since the day Cupid’s arrow penetrated the hearts of Kelina and Andrew, these two young men could never bear to part. But before we give them our blessing, their love must be tested. Team up with your beloved and complete our quest to find out the strength of love. Love Guru and take part in fights. Special prizes like Saint Pet are on offer.

Event 2:
A grand wedding ceremony will be held for 10 players with the most glorious deeds in PK battles. On Valentine’s Day, the GM will act as the Master of Ceremony to host the ceremony. Those heartfelt and touching wedding vows, beautiful flowers and the ringing of bells will be combined to give a most romantic feeling. Your wedding will be a splendid spectacle. February 14, for the whole day, let’s indulge ourselves in love.

Event 3:
We will hold a Valentine’s Day Screenshot Contest. You can take screenshots in the game or hand draw something game based, then submit them to us. Photoshop or other graphics programs can be use to process or edit images.

Tales of Pirates: Valentine’s Day Events

Valentine’s Day is coming… that special day when we stop and take the time to show our love and treasure our loved ones. After the event has started the GMs will give out lovers’ cards at 2 spots, for male players and female players, 2 different cards for each player. Male players can go find the GM at Outlaw Isle while female players can go find the GM at Icicle Castle to trade for the lovers’ cards. After obtaining the cards players should go to Cupid Isle to find an opposite gender player who is your prearranged lover and has the same cards as you. Exchange the cards with each other, so you both have 2 matching cards. Then you can redeem the 2 same cards for respective Valentine gifts with the GM at Cupid Isle.

The romance god of love Cupid will appear at Thundoria Castle this time. Female players can go find Cupid to sign up and obtain a loving keepsake after registering successfully, entrants will be teleported to Skeletar Isle safe area which is guarded by Level 3 Sand Bag critters. Meanwhile, the male players can go to claim their loving keepsake B at Spring Town Inn. After obtaining the keepsake, male Entrants should immediately team up and hurry to Skeletar Isle to save their loving female players. If a male player is able to rescue a female player you can exchange keepsakes with each other. After the event ends Cupid will award prizes to couples according to their keepsakes.

Angels Online: A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing

Last winter, the evil wolves suffered greatly from the extreme cold and lack of food. Hungry and desperate, so the wolves have dropped their usually sneaky and crafty nature and have planned to attack the Angel Lyceum to sate their appetite.

The Angels Online team will be holding the “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing” event from 10:00am to 10:30am EST (GMT-5) on Feb 7th in the Angel Lyceum. All participating players have a chance to obtain abundant rewards such as Purple Circus Elephant, Skill Crystal, Common Exp Stone, kinds of teleportation scrolls and various fireworks for the approaching Valentine’s Day.

The Most, The Best!

GMs in each server will summon a group of Howling Wolves in the Angel Lyceum. Little Angels here should try their best to kill these monsters fast. The top 3 servers which kill the most Howling Wolves within half an hour will be the winners of this event.

Valentine’s Day-Event in Runes of Magic has just begun

Berlin, January 27th 2009: For those players who want to flee from the cold of winter, they can now indulge themselves in spring fever as love is in the air of Taborea. A Valentine’s Day event has just started in Runes of Magic and marks the beginning of an extensive series of events that awaits players of Frogsters’ fantasy online-role-playing game during 2009.

From today until Valentine’s Day on February 14th 2009, fans with a sweet tooth are invited to produce in-game chocolate to strengthen their in-game characters. During this time friends of flowers will also be able to obtain rose seeds on a daily basis. If cared for these flowers will bloom and grant growers a strong buff. To compensate players for all their efforts, roses will be exchanged for special gift boxes. With a bit of luck and perseverance, gardeners will find one of two time-limited mounts designed exclusively for this event: a Pegasus or unicorn. Those who collect 30 roses during the event will be awarded a special title as a reward

Runes of Magic started the open beta with an English and a German version in the middle of December 2008. All interested players can now download the online-role playing game and enter into the fantasy world after creating an account for free on www.runesofmagic.com.
