Free Samples of 250 Marvel Digital Comics for a Limited Time
Ok, so this isn’t a post about free games like usual, but I have to post on it. Marvel has opened up a digital comic library containing thousands of comics from the entire Marvel universe. I had thought that this would be an awesome idea for years, but it seemed like they were never going to get around to it. Well, now it’s here and for a limited time you can check out samples of 250 digital comics for free.
For a low price of $9.99 a month or $59.88 for the year, you can have open access to the entire library! This is an amazing offer! We’re talking hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of comics available for viewing at your leisure.
The only issue I see at this point in time is that there are some missing issues in certain collections… in fact certain sets are quite bare, but Marvel claims that they will be building on the library on a weekly basis.
Ok DC and Dark Horse Comics, Marvel has set a high bar here… it’s time to catch up or even top it and get into the digital game!

I don’t know whether to take this as a good or bad sign… but the marvel site including the digital comics seem to have been down this weekend whenever I’ve checked! On the good side, this means the popularity is through the roof which means more focus, more comics, and a higher priority on digital comics. On the bad side, it looks like when it comes to hardware and infrastructure, things aren’t going so well. People that got in on a subscription (like me) are not able to access the library. I hope things are straightened out early next week…
