Free Full Motion Video PC Game
Fate by Numbers is a throwback to the days of full motion video games. The game was actually developed as a graduation project for a Communication and Design program and has been release free to the public.
“Fate by Numbers is a sci-fi noir adventure game that uses full-motion video. You assume the role of Alice Sanger, private eye. She is assigned to get a briefcase, but quickly finds herself immersed in a web of corruption and shadowy motives.
What follows is a mysterious journey through the layers of a future metropolis influenced by the style of noir movies from the 1950s.â€
The students set out to prove that this kind of production could be put together these days using a small budget and pro-sumer equipment.
The game makes use of an hour of HD footage and professional actors that were shot against a green screen.
