In case you don’t know (but how couldn’t you?) Day of Defeat is a modification of the Half-Life pc game. It is available as a free download to anyone who has an original Half-Life game installed on their computer. Otherwise, it costs $9.95 to get from www.steampowered.com

Ragnarok Online is a very famous one that I noticed you didnt mention.
It isnt just one game alone their are hundreds of private servers around the web.
This is the mainsite, http://iro.ragnarokonline.com/index.asp, and they require money. But you can get a 15 day free trial. But the private servers are completely free.
This game has almost everything you could want a large amount of different items a ton of quests all with great rewards, tons of different types of character classes, dungeons, monsters, everything!

Note: different servers have different features some have higher rates, meaning easier leveling, some have different drop rates for items, some have different characters and skills.
